The  The Defending World Champions have overcame a 10 and a half game lead that the Mets had earlier in the season and won the National League East this year. The Braves will open up the 2022 Playoffs against the winner of the Phillies vs. Cardinals series. 

The Falcons learned on 10/7/22 that Tight End Kyle Pitts will not play on Sunday because of a hamstring injury. Today (10/9/22) the Falcons could have used a healthy Kyle Pitts as they came up short to the Tampa Bay Bucs 21 to 15. 

The Atlanta Hawks pulled off some strong off-season trades and now have one of the best backcourts in basketball.  Pre-season games will start in October, Hawks should be a playoff contender this year. 

Both the Flames and the Thrashers Hockey teams have moved to Cities in Canada. Both teams were exciting to watch while they were here in Atlanta. Flames were here first, then after a break with no Hockey in Atlanta the N.H.L. expanded and the Thrashers were born.
